Extended-area service and mileage

We work beyond the Dallas service area. For extended-area jobs, the first 50 driving miles one way (100 miles round trip) are included. Additional round-trip driving miles are charged at the Texas automobile mileage reimbursement benchmark adopted by TeckNation.

Current reviewed benchmark: $0.76 per mile, effective July 1–December 31, 2026.

Checked October 28, 2026. Your quote records the applicable rate and approved route.

Billable miles = max(0, outbound driving miles − 50) + max(0, return driving miles − 50). For the same route in both directions, this is 2 × max(0, one-way driving miles − 50). The mileage charge is rounded once to the nearest cent.

Example: a 70-mile journey each way has 40 billable miles, or $30.40 at the current benchmark. Driving miles are documented from the agreed departure location; the city directory below uses geographic distance and does not calculate a travel charge.

This is TeckNation’s customer billing policy using the state-employee reimbursement benchmark. Any labor, equipment, trip charge or other approved service cost is listed separately in your quote.

TeckNation Access Control LLC is responsible for the work expressly included in its agreed written scope. Repairing pre-existing damage, defects, code deficiencies, concealed conditions or other conditions outside that scope is not included. Additional corrective work requires a written scope and price approved by the customer before it begins.

To the extent permitted by law, TeckNation is not responsible or liable for work, defects or damage caused by other companies or independent contractors that TeckNation did not engage or control. This does not exclude responsibility for TeckNation's own acts or omissions, or for persons for whom TeckNation is legally responsible.

If TeckNation's work causes a problem or damage, TeckNation will correct or repair the problem it caused at no charge to the customer, including the necessary labor and materials. Contact TeckNation at (972) 777-5799 or RenoirFisher@TeckNation.com so it can inspect the issue and arrange the repair.

This policy does not waive statutory consumer rights, exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, or limit other remedies required by law. It does not retroactively change an existing signed agreement. For administrative or employee forms, it describes TeckNation's customer service policy and does not create an employee waiver.

Effective October 28, 2026 for new TeckNation scopes and agreements.
